I pretty much always lie when I say I'm going to resurrect my blog.

Recap & pictures of the amazingness that went down yesterday will be posted later tonight<3

We are Golden

I'm resurrecting my blog!

Anyway, summer is winding down, so the excitement is coming to a close. Mostly, anyway. I'll be posting my summer video in a later post, instead of trying to tell you everything I did :]

My current obsession is Mika's new video contest. I'm going to film my entry next Tuesday, then spend a LOT of time editing it. It'll also be posted once it's done<3

Anyway, I just wanted to post an update.

Details coming soon!

Perfect Symmetry

Oh boy you oughta leave this town
get out while you can,
the needle's running out.

I have a big mixture of feelings right now.

I thoroughly enjoy days like these, days that remind me of the summer ahead. Even though right now I should be continuing my anthro reading, studying thoroughly for my 11A essay, and finishing up my concept for my final performance piece, I'm taking today a little slower. I'm enjoying this ANTM marathon, the warm weather, and just relaxing.

It's been a crazy couple of weeks, but I've enjoyed most of it. One of the major highlights was definitely being able to go to the American Idol Season 8 finale. It was tons of fun and I feel fortunate to have seen such legendary musical acts.

However, going to the finale just re-sparked my Idol-madness. I honestly can't wait until the tour so I can hopefully meet Adam :]

Anyway, I'm glad this quarter is coming to an end. I'm well on my way to officially becoming a studio art major and I'm looking forward to taking many studio classes next year - digital imaging, drawing, sculpture, painting... I'm just plain out excited.

I think I've also finally come to terms about my dad. I have God to thank for his physical state, not the doctors. I am so thankful he's come this far... My mom has done a lot of research and apparently if patients like my dad make it to 6 months, they almost always live for a long time. Nice to hear some good news for a change!

He's continuing to stay clinically stable and hopefully some time in the future he will be able to respond. Until then, please keep praying that the Lord will raise his consciousness and allow him to communicate with us!

So that's basically it.

Finals are coming up and I'm massively excited about the future.

Plenty of great things to come :]
